By accessing or using the Pronto by Inpromptu mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Pronto by Inpromptu provides a mobile application that enables users to create spontaneous hangout invitations (“beacons”) and coordinate impromptu plans with friends. The service includes features for friend connections, event creation with time-sensitive invitations, location sharing, and real-time notifications. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 17 years old to use this service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You may not use another person's account without permission
• You may not create multiple accounts for the same person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape or data mine content from the service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Spam or send unsolicited invitations

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the service, including beacon descriptions, images, and profile information. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Content Moderation

We use automated systems to screen user-generated content for safety and appropriateness. Content that violates our community guidelines may be flagged or removed. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with these Terms and applicable laws.

Our Content

All content provided by Pronto by Inpromptu, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect and process personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, including email addresses, profile information, and location data for service functionality.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, Community Guidelines, or for any other reason. You may also request account deletion at any time by emailing support@inpromptu.org from your registered email address. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. You acknowledge that real-world meetups arranged through the service are at your own risk, and we are not responsible for the safety or conduct of users during in-person interactions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRONTO BY INPROMPTU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM IN-PERSON MEETUPS, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our service evolves. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms and updating the “Last Updated” date, or by sending notifications through the app or email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and applicable state laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, applicable EU and local laws may also apply.
